Some of my tecto form sketches that I liked reminded me of the Moka pot designed by Bialetti in Italy. I researched the Moka pot and found that it is a beloved design often gifted as a family heirloom.
I took inspiration from this form to create a sense of familiarity in my watering can and add to the user’s identity, as well as add to the intent of indulging in simple pleasures.
